Ty - Solos Do you
ever go to the Hard Rock Casino near Miami to play poker? If see a 310 pound mountain of a man working as
Pit Boss, his name is Ty. Ty rented the Bullet/Monster while
at Pine Island Airport and enjoyed his flights. Ty is very
athletic and even completed the police academy with high
honors. YES SIR!
Eddie - Solos Eddie
and his brother Craig came to PlanetPPG for a week and slept
in the Montana RV right next to the runway. Eddy is an
instrument rated GA pilot and enjoys his Mooney airplane
when home in Texas. He is now thinking of only PPG! Eddie
rented the Top80 for his flights and is pictured with his
brother Craig's FB Simo.
Matt - Solos Matt
took to the USPPA training like a duck in the water. After 2
days of kiting and hitting the books Matt took his solo
flight on a Wednesday PLUS 6 more flights. Then on the
following day (Thursday) he took 8 more flights. Busy boy!

Jared - Solos Jared
has really started to enjoy his flying. As a local he has
the ability to spend more time at the airport than some
other pilots and it is paying off. Jared is flying as much
as he can now with a used Nirvana Rodeo and trike and new
Eden4 wing. Enjoy Jared- Blue Skys!
Bob's Island Adventures
has boats for rent so you can go to Cayo Costa or any of the
Lee Islands for a day of
flying a white sand beach. The family will enjoy the beach while you
fly!

Cape Coral/ Ft Myers - go West on Colonial to Pine Island
Rd, Left turn onto Pine Island Rd. Go through Matlacha to 4
way stop sign. Right turn (North) on Stringfellow Rd.
Proceed North until the road curves left - Turn Right on
Ficas Tree ("Plane Rides" sign should be visible) Pass Pine
Island Growers (PIG) and find Airport on Left. Morning Star
Lane
Tampa and North - I-75 to exit 161. Go Right on Jones Loop
Rd. Stay on this road - cross 41 - road name changes to Burnt
Store Road. Proceed South on Burnt Store Road until you
reach Pine Island Road. Take Right onto Pine Island Road. Go
through Matlacha to 4 way stop sign. Right turn (North) on Stringfellow Rd. Proceed North until the road curves left -
Turn Right on Ficas Tree ("Plane Rides" sign should be
visible) Pass Pine Island Growers (PIG) and find Airport on
Left. Morning Star Lane
